Teri Pappas

teriTeresa (Teri) has more than 20 years of organization development experience within the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, financial services, and publishing industries. Working across various industries, Teresa has held positions at Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Volkswagen of America, Inc., Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and Pearson Performance Solutions (formerly McGraw Hill/London House). She specializes in the areas of leadership and employee development, executive coaching, competency development, change management, and performance assessment. She also works extensively in team interventions, and training design and facilitation.

She is a Coach University Advanced Corporate Coaching graduate and a Certified Coach. Teresa is a results-driven professional who has a history of partnering across leadership levels to provide outcome-based solutions that achieve organizational goals. She has broad knowledge and skill in her specialty areas of executive coaching, organization development, talent management and performance assessment. In addition, she has demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that optimize human talent and increase organizational effectiveness.

Teri is an adjunct professor with the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where she teaches: Analysis and Decisions; and Managing Organizational Diversity. She is also adjunct faculty with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, teaching: Change Management; Performance Management; and Organizational Culture and Design. In addition, she has published and presented nationally on topics ranging from managerial training effectiveness, leadership evaluations, measuring customer service orientation, explaining type behavior, and assessing the impact of individual personalities on team performance.

Teri holds a PhD and M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Applied Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Certifications include: Advanced Corporate Coaching Program, PDI 360 Profiler, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Franklin Covey Focus, Six Thinking Hats, Blanchard Situational Leadership, Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument and Linkage/William Bridges Change and Transition Management.
